FWCF Preparatory Training

Fellow of the Worshipful Company of Farriers is the Highest WCF award and recognises candidate’s farriery knowledge, experience, and determination in driving the profession forward by virtue of dissemination of information and techniques delivered via lecturers, demonstrations, and literary communication.

Development forward of your AWCF, which is the highest practical technical certificate, demands the harnessing of a different set of skills.

Dissertation skills will encompass critical appraisal of articles, literature, technical papers, and practical work. Writing in a recognised scientific form. Designing experiments that have set parameters and scope that are also repeatable. As well as collecting and analysing the statistical results from collected data.

Farriery takes on a whole new meaning when focusing on a dissertation, for examination, that centres on a devised experiment complimented by your own mastered practical technical skills learnt during your AWCF development and subsequently built on.  Any requested practical application of shoeing process is merely sampling technical abilities.

Should candidates require additional direction with practical skills, this can be provided by supplementary sessions to sharpen and address skill fade.

Scientific horseshoeing Advanced course preparation FWCF is designed to guide you through the rigors of learning and applying newfound skill sets in academia to produce a credible dissertation for presentation and discussion by virtue of the WCF FWCF Examination.

The course is delivered over an 18 Month period online. Students will have access to all farriery courses power points and session materials currently on the Scientific Horseshoeing site.

The Advanced sessions are released bi-monthly with one-to-one personal bimonthly online tutorials. Practical tuition would attract an additional fee.

The of the course covers 9 sessions at a cost of £225 per session at a total of £2025

Enrolment of £225 followed by 8 bi-monthly payments of £225
