Webinar – The Farriery Treatrment Timeline – Laminitis

An interactive webinar based on the farriery treatment timeline for laminitis.

About the Event:
In this webinar from Scientific Horseshoeing, hosted by DR. Mark Caldwell FWCF we are delighted to be sharing the platform with Blane Chapman CJF form Texas. Blane is the son of the Legendry Burney Chapman, often credited with the rebirth of the Heart-Bar shoe. However, it must be said that Blane is a leading practitioner of farriery treatment protocols for dealing with catastrophic hoof injuries and diseases in his own right. Blane has delivered lectures and clinics around the globe and is part of a dynasty of brothers who followed in his father’s footsteps. Along with further insights from Paul Conroy BSc (Hons) AWCF.
This webinar will focus on farriery interventions for the treatment of laminitis, the options, the timing, the hypotheses behind the various farriery options as well as the unintended consequences of their application. Mark, Blane, and other invited panelists will attempt to explain the rationale behind the various treatment options and the need for good quality diagnostic information and imaging. Amongst our panelist there will be a surprise guest lecturer who will be on hand to answer questions relating to veterinary aspects of these complicated cases including causative and medical treatment factors normally outside the remit of the farrier.
We hope you will join us for this series of webinar topics focused on exploring the efficacy of many of the commonly accepted rules surrounding the hoof care protocols for this often-debilitating condition.
