Welcome to this course designed to give you, the horse owner, trainer or para professional a broader understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the equine foot and lower limb.

The old maxims of “no foot no horse” are as true today as they were in 1854. Your farrier or hoof care professionals have however not just the hoof to consider but must take account of the physiological function of musculoskeletal system and in particular that if re limb.

In this course we will cover not only anatomical structures but their interrelationships with each other in the hope that you gain a broader understanding of, what is a miracle of biomechanical engineering, the foot and limb.
